MEET THE DPSL TEAM

FOUNDER/DIRECTOR
Sam Daley

Sam is the key component of the company and the Founder/Director of the business. As a Registered Master Builder Licensed Building Practitioner and maintenance expert, he has over 20+ years of experience in the industry. His years within the building industry enabled him to showcase his building knowledge and win multiple awards over the years through House of the Year awards.

Sam has the ability to understand clients varied needs and offers input based on his experience to achieve the best outcome required for the client. He has an interest in ensuring all Health & Safety aspects of the business are covered and has successfully achieved ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 and Totika status.

Along with his knowledge, Sam keeps up to date with industry trends and keeps his feet firmly on the ground by being actively involved in all aspects of the business on a daily basis.

When not working within the business you will find Sam spending time with his family or close to the ocean.

DIRECTOR
Rick Morgan

Rick is a qualified builder with over 26 years experience in the New Zealand construction industry and a proven background in both project and contract management.

he prides himself on his ability to work closely with all clients, whilst delivering any of their required outcomes.

Ricks previous role as a National Contract Manager for BGIS Ltd, seen him and his team, deliver large volume construction works on a national scale over the past 11 years, in both the private and public sectors.

Now, as one of the directors of DPSL Ricks goal is to replicate previous successes in the construction industry for both clients and team members alike, by creating a culture where employees and clients feel valued and supported, businesses can increase productivity, encourage new ideas, and grow sustainably.

General Manager
Tania Sharples

Tania joined DPSL as General Manager in 2023, bringing a unique mix of IT know-how, construction expertise, and the rare ability to keep all the moving parts moving in the right direction.

She spent more than a decade in the IT industry mastering administration before swapping codes to construction while raising her family. Another ten plus years followed with a leading commercial property maintenance company, where she worked her way through several management roles and built a reputation for getting things done.

With her practical approach, strategic mindset, and knack for solving problems, Tania was a natural fit for the DPSL team. She's passionate about building on the strong foundations laid by the Directors and helping drive the business toward its next chapter of success with the fantastic team DPSL has.

When she's not keeping the wheels turning at DPSL, you'll likely find her spending time with family and friends, sneaking away for a getaway, or trying to convince the fish to bite.

REGIONAL MANAGER – TAURANGA
Richie Brunton

When an opportunity to move to the BOP came knocking in 2010, the choice to raise his children in this beautiful part of NZ was too good to pass up.

He has worked within the Building and Maintenance industry in the Auckland & Tauranga regions for a combined 24 years. In the most recent 14 years Richie has enjoyed roles as both Project & Regional Manager, having been involved in a vast variety of projects.

Outside of work, his Fiancé Chrissy and himself have a combined “mob” of 6 awesome teenage children and a Rottweiler certainly keeping them busy! When he finds spare time, he enjoys travelling, quality time with friends, getting out onto the water, into the bush or heading anywhere quiet or peaceful.

Operations Manager
Adam Day

Adam is a qualified roofer with over 20 years experience in Australia and NZ. He has a proven background in both Project Management and most recently as an Operations Manager within the Building and Maintenance industry in the roofing trade. Outside of work Adam enjoys Fishing, Rugby and Golf and spending time with his young family.

Project Manager
Dom Pearson

Born and bred in the Bay, he spent his college years in Auckland before heading abroad for the best part of 10 years, working in the construction industry in Australia and travelling the world.

When he returned to NZ , his wife and he were expecting their first child and the obvious choice was to return to Tauranga to start their family.

Over the past 19 years, Mt Maunganui has been home, where he has worked as a painter both for himself and in later years as a wage employee for a large commercial property maintenance company.

Over the last 6 years, he has merged his experiences into a management role, running and pricing multi-trade projects in both the commercial and residential space.

Client relationships and business development are his strengths and having a solid grasp on his local environment lends to that.

He is a keen family man who enjoys the outdoors and the coastal opportunities the Bay brings.

Roofing Development Manager
Will Fifita

Will is a qualified roofer with over 7 years’ experience both in Australia and NZ. Will has a background in roofing Project Management and has vast knowledge in all aspects of roofing which helps him provide excellent onsite management of projects. Will in his spare time enjoys being part of his local rugby team and supporting his family in all their extra-curricular sporting activities on the weekends.

PROJECT COORDINATOR
Ashley Williams

Ashley joined DPSL in 2023 as the Project Coordinator. Ashley comes from a strong operations background across multiple industries and brings a wealth of experience in coordinating and managing a myriad of essential functions. In her spare time you’ll find her exploring the wider Auckland region for hidden spots of NZ’s classic beauty, or back home immersed in a true crime documentary.

Leeanne Passau

Leeanne has been with Daley Property Services Ltd for 2 years now and looks after the accounts division. She has lived in the Howick community for 16 years with her husband and 2 children. In her spare time she enjoy’ s keeping fit, reading a good book, doing Wasgij puzzles and spending time with friends and family.

Cherene Daley

Cherene is the Directors wife who helps support the business in many ways. She also works in the office in a part-time role. They have four beautiful daughters together. They love to ski, travel and spend a lot of time at various sports events with their children.

Brad Douglas

Brad joined DPS in 2025 after a long standing career in the Construction industry, his depth of knowledge in the industry and being the front facing person on the ground ensures our projects run smoothly.

QS
Jim Gordon

Jim joined DPS in 2025 and is the companies QS.  Jim has actively participated in a diverse range of projects, ranging from seismic upgrades, re-clads and re-roofing ventures.  Jim diligently manages the pricing of tenders incorporating intricate architectural drawings and skillfully handles the QS aspects of our assignments.  Beyond his professional pursuits, Jim enjoys martial arts and cherishes quality time spent with his family.

H&S Administrator
Tenysha Meleisea

Tenysha (Nesh) joined DPS in 2025.  She is relatively new to the trade industry, she comes from a background in roofing administration, is eager to expand her knowledge, particularly in general construction.  Outside of work, she is a proud mum to her son.  They love spending weekends together, often enjoying outings and staying active at the gym.

Monique Barton

Monique joined the DPSL team in June 2026 and brings over 12 years experience in the FMCG industry.  

Curious by nature, she loves to learn the background behind projects and processes to keep things running smoothly.

Outside of work, you can find her tending to her gardens, getting lost in a good book or teaching herself some new craft ideas. 

Regional Manager - Southern
Ben Moore

Ben joined the team in 2026 as the Regional Manager for the Southern Region.  He was a builder in a past life with over 15 yrs experience in the trade, still confident enough to know which end of the hammer is used for hitting in nails.

When he's not at work, he is at home annoying his kids, working on the house or running around the footy field pretending like I'm still young and fit enough to do so. I take great pride in my work and always find a way to make sure everyone’s having a laugh along the way, cause if you aren’t laughing,, you aren’t living
